This March, alongside the Sustainable Development Association, the Edinburgh University Energy and Sustainability Society , and the Food Security and Sustainability Society we discussed what societies like ours are doing to be more sustainable and eco-friendly.

The panel involved a discussion around the actions each society are taking to create sustainable solutions to tackle sustainable issues, including all the exciting events and conferences that they have all held.

This was followed by an open Q&A from the audience to discuss how the University can be more sustainable and how we can work to promote enterprises like ours to get students on board.

We want to say a huge thank you to all the panelists that joined us to talk about this issue and to the audience who took time to come along, listen and discuss. As well as our own Sanitree member Eleanor Lever for organising the panel event.
